Carl's Stearns, Jr. has over 30 years of experience in the industry.  Specializing in coin operated machines, Carl decided to develop his own laundry repair service to meet the ever present demand in the industrial, commercial and coin-op markets.  Carl's Laundry Service was started in 1980 and a year later Carl's brother, Keith, joined the business.  From this partnership, a successful business grew in Canyon Country, California.

    On November 24, 1982, Carl and Keith incorporated and Carl's Laundry Repair, Inc. was created.  In 1983, their shop moved to Granada Hills, California.  This location provided easier access to their customers, their inventory and their stock of used equipment.  As their family run company grew larger, the need for more space became apparent.  They settled in Van Nuys, California, where they have been since August 1, 1986.

    Carl's Laundry Repair, Inc. currently employs eight people who run a service department, manage a parts room, and install and repair new and used machines.  Two shop technicians are equipped to rebuild and install used equipment.

    The majority of work is aimed at servicing the equipment of hospital chains, convalescent hospitals, hotels, restaurants, gymnasiums, and coin op laundry machines.  The service technicians have many years of experience with all types and brands of laundry equipment.

    With 1100 customers throughout southern California, Carl's Laundry Repair, Inc. has gained a reputation as being one of the best in the field.
